Hey Reader,
This one is for you if you wrestle with the idea of when to effort and when to rest.
For years these seemingly opposite ways of being constantly made me question how I ran and operated my business.
It wasn’t until I made the distinction I’m going to dive into today that finally made the equation of effort make sense.
I’ll be the first to say that consistency is key.
Because if you’re not willing to consistently do something, the likelihood of building a great business is highly unlikely.
It’s kind of like expecting to build a world class physique by only going to the gym when you feel like it.
It’s just not going to happen.
Most coaches and service providers unintentionally operate their businesses in a way that produces feast and famine.
Where some months are wildly successful and others are mediocre at best.
As a result, they try to level things out by striving for consistency.
And when that consistent behavior doesn’t produce the result, they hustle to make something happen.
Only to finally slow down when they hit the goal.
Then the cycle repeats.
Sound familiar?
When you zoom out and look at growth it’s almost never linear.
It has spikes and valleys.
The truth is that you build during periods of intensity.
Then you maintain a level of success by being consistent for a while after.
But it’s not something that just happens as a reaction.
It has to be intentionally designed.
A few years ago I started running my business in a particular way.
Where I focused on periods of intensity followed by periods of consistent action.
This was one of the things that finally helped me get past the coveted 10k months and six figures annually.
And to the point where I could predictably sprint to 30k plus months.
If your revenue has plateaued even though you’re consistent, it’s likely because the opposite is required.
You need a period of intensity to growth.
It won’t happen by just continuing to do what you’re doing.
These are the 3 key things I focus on during a sprint.
1 - Prioritize conversations
If you sell high ticket coaching the one thing that precedes every sale is a conversation. This should be your top priority. One of my coaches said it this way… You are in the business of scheduling and conducting conversations. More conversations will almost always lead to more sales.
And not just online. Get into the habit of putting yourself in environments where you're around people who fit your ideal client profile. Be candid, genuine, and curious. Use the power of priority listening to effortlessly invite someone to have a deeper conversation as the opportunity presents itself.
2 - Shift beliefs
There’s more than enough content out there that provides information. But more often than not it ends up collecting digital dust on the shelf of their Instagram saved posts folder. When you help someone see the cause of the situation they're in and how it's different than what they think it is, they almost instantly see you as someone who has the solution to that problem.
3 - Increase your pace
The fact of the matter is money loves speed. The less you hesitate and question your ideas, intuition, and what you see as the next best step, the more revenue you’ll generate. Move swiftly, but not in a hurry. Growth phases are not the time to operate at a casual pace. That's for the off-season.
So…
If you’ve been consistent but you’re not seeing as many sign-ups as you want, shift your focus to more of these.
Over the past few months, I’ve been refining this sprint framework with a client.
I spoke about this in an email last month where she started seeing more calls booked and more of those calls converting to clients.
Coming into this past week she hit a new PR (personal record) with enrollment calls (she calls them clarity calls).
Half of those calls converted to clients.
This is all with an offer that’s only a few months old.
As you can see, she’s very pleased with the results and that her coaching "is really taking off."
Typically the only way to start working with me is through a 90-day container.
I’ve decided to open up 3 spots for sprints just like this.
Here are the details.
It’s a 30-day sprint.
Over those 30 days we’ll refine you’re offer, messaging, and posting strategy to help you bring in a flood of calls and new clients.
This may be obvious from the name, but it’s a sprint.
That means you will need to work swiftly.
Not in a hurry.
But you must have dedicated time to create four or more posts per week and conduct calls with prospects.
This is not a magic pill or miracle solution.
It’s a very targeted approach to compassionately and powerfully speak to your ideal client and consistently invite people to work with you.
We’ll also help you eradicate any limiting beliefs around money, sales, and brining in new business during the holidays.
If you want one of these spots there are two simple steps to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
#1 - Book a time to chat with me this coming week.
You can do that here.
#2 - After you book a time you will automatically be redirected to a brief application that will only take you seven minutes or less to complete. So make sure you wait for that page to load.
The investment for this sprint is 2k.
But before any money changes hands, we need to chat to see if we’re aligned and your business is in a place where this would work for you.
If that amount scares you or you’re not ready to invest, that is completely okay.
This just isn’t for you.
However, if you’re ready to wrap up 2024 strong and head into the new year with more clients, more cash, and momentum, then let’s chat.
Here’s the link to grab a time to chat.
Spots are first come first serve.
So don’t let this sit if reading this lit a fire under your ass.
Chat soon,
